About Todd Wilson
Owner Todd Wilson graduated from Michigan Technological University in Houghton Michigan with a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering. After graduation, he joined E&V Consultants and Construction Managers located in Grand Rapids, Michigan as an onsite construction manager.
In this position, he constructed the Holland Aquatic Center in Holland, Michigan ($12.5 million, 60,000 square foot addition) and the St. Joseph Community Intermediate School District’s Administration Building in Centerville, Michigan ($2 million, 10, 000 square foot addition).
Todd then joined The Skillman Corporation in Grand Rapids, Michigan as an assistant project manager. In this role, Todd provided home office support for onsite construction managers, as well as worked onsite himself as construction manager. Most notable projects include those for the Stockbridge Community School District in Stockbridge, Michigan. Todd managed the construction of a $12 million, 65,000 square foot new elementary school and then managed the demolition and expansion of an existing elementary school. This major expansion doubled the size of the original structure.
Upon completion of his successful tenure with The Skillman Corporation, Todd went to work for Superior Steel Components, a light gauge steel truss company in Marne, Michigan. Todd served as Project Manager in charge of delivery schedule, field issue resolution and truss plan review.
A year later, Todd joined Workstage, LLC, a design/build general contractor located in Grand Rapids, Michigan as a project manager on the preconstruction side. His main responsibilities with Workstage, LLC were ensuring that construction plans were error free and that scheduling was accurate for projects located all over the United States. Most notable projects include a new call center for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (100,000 square feet) located in Eugene, Oregon, Building Hope charter school located in Washington, D.C. (3 story, 80,000 square feet) and Fairfield University Admissions Building in Fairfield, Connecticut (60,000square feet).
In January 2006, Todd moved to Tucson to start his own company as a Residential General Contractor.
